Size: 96 by 100 inches
Large antique cotton hand crocheted lace bedspread with a peacock perched inside an arbor circa about 1890-1910. This beautiful lace spread measures 96 inches wide and is 100 inches long, it will fit a queen or a king bed, the bottom corners have a cutout for the bedposts. The design has a large peacock perched on a stand in the center of a grape arbor surrounded by butterflies, the scalloped edges has flowers inside the scallops. There are 3 small repairs (less than an inch), the spread is otherwise in very good strong condition, I have washed it and dried it outside in our fresh New Hampshire air and sunshine so its ready to use on your bed! This is a substantial, weighty spread, the cotton is very soft and drapey.
Size: 52 by 84 inches
Antique hand crochet figural bedspread or throw with the statue of Liberty that reads Liberty for All circa 1900-20s. This spread measures 52 by 84 inches, it will fit a twin bed or work as a cover for a day bed or a throw. The thread feels like a cotton blended with rayon (this was a luxury combination before the 30s and quite pricey), the edges are scalloped with miss Liberty herself standing amid bouquets of beribboned flowers. The piece is in a light beige with some faded areas that can be seen clearly in the pictures, I did wash this piece, but the color variations did not change, the spread is otherwise in very good condition, it is strong, weighty and drapey.

The bag has definitely seen use, there are some fairly small lipstick red stains on the bottom of the inside, wear on the clasp and closure though it works fine and I just noticed a pea size hole on the side of the bag on the fold, the outside has general use dirt, the bag is otherwise good and still quite usable, no funky smells.

This is a magnificent antique hand carved gourd bowl de-accessioned from a museum. This bowl measures 4 inches high and is 8.5 inches in diameter. The inside of the bowl is scraped smooth, the outside has fairly deep craving, VERY detailed and skillfully done depicting floral vines and birds with rabbits, the designs have a decided 17th or early 18th century look to them and the bowl has very obvious patina. This is a museum piece skillfully carved in very good condition. There is a slip of paper that came with the bowl that states "from Gayette Museum craved gourd bowl". There is also an old label on the bowl it reads S/8 -KS.
This is a book set but I am selling each book separately. The book title is The Turner Gallery a series of 120 (each book has 60 steel cut engravings) engravings from the works of the late J.M.W. Turner, R.A. printed by D. Appleton and Company 1, 3, and 5 Bond Street New York. The book measures 14.5 by 10.5 by 2.25 inches. Each book has 60 engravings. The book's cover is leather with gold tooling, the cover is off and the spins leather is gone, the engraved pictures are in good condition, some have some browning but most are suitable for framing. I bought these books with the purpose of removing the engravings and framing them as many are quite beautiful with scenes of castles and countrysides with people and animals but I never got around to it and probably never will so here they are! Please remember each book is being sold separately.

Size: 88 by 92 inches
This is medium summer weight linen sheet that has damage so I am selling it as a cutter for the fabric, circa about 1900. This sheet measures 88 by 92 inches, there is a good foot square area near the middle side that is thin with a couple of poorly done repairs in the middle of the thin area that are 19 inches long and about 3 inches wide, there are also holes in the thin area (basically this area is unusable), the rest of the sheet is in very good condition so there is a good amount of fabric for a project, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is soft with a wonderful smooth cool hand that only antique linen has.
