This white and blue luncheon set consists of a runner 18.5 by 35 inches, 8 place mats 12 by 17.5 inches and 8 napkins 17 inches square. The scalloped edges are all hand embroidered in royal blue thread, the runner and placemats have blue embroidered dots over all and the napkins have them in one corner. There are 4 faint stains that will most likely come out with another soak, the set is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. This is a quality set with fine linen and precise hand embroidery.

This cream linen pillow case measures 20.5 by 32 inches, the hem has a row of drawnwork, the case is otherwise unadorned. There are 2 small pea size holes in one corner and 2 on the hem, the case is otherwise good, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is very soft and drapey.

Heavy homespun linen towel or fabric circa late 1800s Heavy homespun linen towel or fabric circa late 1800s. This oat colored linen towel measures 38 by 58 inches, the hems are hand stitched. The linen is thick and heavy, there are some small stains and I counted 11 holes ranging in size from smaller than a pea to one hole that is an inch long, the rest are 1/2 inch or smaller. The fabric isn't weak in any way, my guess is these came from something acidic that got on the fabric and created the holes. The piece is actually quite sturdy and darning would enable one to use this towel for many, many years, I have washed and pressed it.
