Circa: 1910 Condition: used excellent Size: 85 by 104 inches Color: cream Manufacturer: European linens
Hand embroidered cream linen bedspread with monogram early 1900s. This light cream linen bedspread measures 85 by 104 inches, it will fit a queen bed, the hems are hand stitched with a row of drawn work, at the top part that will cover the pillows is one monogram that reads FHP and in the center of a large hand embroidered floral cartouche is the same monogram only a bit larger. The hand embroidery is well done in cotton thread. There is one dime size group of little stains that will probably come out with another wash, the spread is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is buttery soft, and cool, wonderful hand! |
