| Unused linen and organdy breakfast set hand embroidered figures with provenance circa 1940-50s. This is a 3pc breakfast set that includes a mat measuring 14 by 20 inches and 2 napkins 12 inches square. The set comes in its original presentation box from Royal family linen and laces, Robinson Grant Inc, New York, the original tissue wrapping is still present. The set has an organdy mat with a fine linen border all hand stitched, there are finely hand embroidered figures of a hunt scene with horses and rider jumping over fences with dogs leading the way, beautiful handwork! This set is in excellent, unused condition, the box has some splits, but is otherwise intact. This set was part of a lot that belonged to the family of Samuel Colt in Hartford Ct. |
