Circa: circa 1940s Condition: excellent Size: 78 by 98 inches and 2 shams 21 by 28 inches Color: pink with green trim Country of Origin: Portugal
. This delightful pink and green sheet set includes a sheet 78 by 98 inches and 2 shams 21 by 28 inches (this set will fit on a queen bed with aprox an 8 inch overhang). The linen is first rate, wonderful, fluid hand, and strong. The design elements are floral with hand embroidered bouquets of flowers with little drawnwork accent leaves, the hem also has the contrasting green appliqué edging, very striking! The shams are a combination of hand and machine stitching, the back closure has 3 MOP buttons. This set is in excellent, strong, little used condition, I have washed and pressed it. I love the cheerful colors! |
