Large thick French or Métis sheet with hand embroidered turkey red monogram, early 1900s. This cream sheet measures 88 by 116 inches, the hems are hand stitched, the center seam is also hand stitched, there are 2 red R's hand cross stitched in the top center. Métis is a sturdy fabric made from cotton and linen. The fabric is thick and sturdy, it will last a lifetime and will get softer with use and washing. The sheet is in excellent condition, it appears to have hardly been used, I have washed and pressed it. Priority shipping in the US is Free. |
