| Fab Ivory glove stretcher with sterling crown monogram circa 1800s. This glove stretched measures 9 inches long and is 0.75 inches wide at the widest part of the handle, the silver inlay monogram is 1.25 inches long and 5/8 inch (15mm) wide. There is a chip from the ivory at the end of the handle and the flat spring is a bit rusted but that's just surface rust, its strong and works just fine, there is also a crack in the side of the ivory ball in the middle and the top to one of the silver L's is gone, all of this is pictured. Still this is a nifty item I absolutely love the monogram a majestic LLC (or however you wish to arrange the letters) with the crown, this obviously belonged to a member of the nobility. |
