Bright hand loomed Asian silk scarf, hand stitched, circa 1800s. This bright orangey red silk scarf measures 14 by 106 inches, it was made on a narrow loom, the selvedge edges have been turn and hand stitched on both sides, the silk is light weight. There is a corner type tear about 1 inch long on one side, 2 small weak spots and some stains, it needs cleaning. |
