Society silk and linen doily circa late 1800s. This cream linen doily measures 9.5 inches in diameter, the scalloped edges are embroidered in light gold silk, there are light peach and gold colored silk violets around the edges. There are 2 little pinholes in the linen, the piece is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it. |
