| Early hand woven linen bath sheet, towel or tablecloth with indigo monogram circa 1800s. This cream textile measures 48 by 50 inches, the ends are stitched by hand, there is a flat center seam also hand stitched, there is a vegetal dyed indigo monogram in one corner that reads EH. There are 3 small holes (tiny to pea size) and 3 this spots (pea size), the piece is otherwise in good condition, I have washed and pressed it. This towel came from an Estate in Springfield Mass. that had a good collection of early hand woven textiles. |
