Lovely handmade figural lace and linen tablecloth, Italian, circa late 1800s or very early 1900s. This lace tablecloth measures 35 by 36 inches, the corners have griffins in handmade filet lace, along the sides are small birds, also in filet lace, interspersed with the lace are linen panels with Italian whitework and needle lace, around the edges is handmade bobbin lace, all the stitching and lacework is hand done. This tablecloth is in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it. |
