Circa: 1910 Condition: used very good , small flaw Size: 82 inches square Color: cream Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: USA
Lovely antique Bates cotton bedspread from the early 1900s. This spread measures 82 inches square, along the side are the Bates crown with the Bates name inside one either side of the crown it states Pat. #4 182. The design is of swags, floral wreaths, along with flower swags and dots., the edges are machine stitched . There are 2 small stains about pea size, the spread is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed it and dried it outside in our fresh New Hampshire air and sunshine so its ready to use on your bed!. This is a heavy substantial bedspread and should wear like the proverbial iron. |
