This is a lovely handmade Normandy lace runner circa 1880-1900. This lace runner measures 16.5 by 43 inches, the laces are all hand stitched together, they include; Point de Venise, Filet, Irish lace, Valenciennes, Bucks point, and Limerick as well as hand embroidered whitework. In the center of the runner is a Filet lace figure, it looks like a stylized lion. This runner is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. |
