Circa: 1920 Condition: Used very good Size: 72 by 140 Color: white Manufacturer: European linen
This is a lovely banquet size linen damask tablecloth with monogram circa 1920’s or 30’s. This pure white tablecloth measures 72 by 140, the edges are hand turned and stitched by hand with almost invisible stitches, the damask pattern is of beautiful poppies with acanthus leaves and graceful scrolls in the corners, the hand embroidered monograms read PLH. There are 2 small hand darns near the edge, the tablecloth is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it. This is a quality cloth, the linen is weighty, smooth and drapey. |
