This is a set of 3 Linen and organdy towels with hand embroidery from Madeira circa 1940’s. These towels measure 13 by 19 inches, the scalloped ends have hand embroiderey, the sides are hand turned and stitched by hand, the design elements are floral with organdy inserts, cutwork and hand embroidered details, the handwork is finely done. One towel has a hand darn on one of the organdy inserts, the other 2 towels are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. |
