This is a lovely round linen tablecloth with hand embroidery and cutwork from about 1900. This tablecloth measures 52 inches in diameter, the edges are scalloped with hand embroidered buttonhole stitching. There are cutwork medallions in the center with hand embroidered embellishments. There is a teensy pinhole near the center, the tablecloth is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is of exceptional quality, it is smooth, cool, soft and drapey. |
