| This is an adorable antique linen sheet set for a small child (crib size)from the 1920's. This custom made peach crib set consists of a top sheet 43 by 92 inches and a bottom sheet 44 by 86 inches. The linen is of a very fine quality summer weight, it is soft, very smooth cool and drapey. The set is ALL hand stitched, the top sheet has 3 animals on the front in white, they look like chipmunks to me, my husband thinks they are cats, the center one is holding an umbrella, they are really cute! There are 3 teensy 1-2mm holes at the top of the sheet, one of them is under one of the animals. The bottom sheet is hemmed on all 4 sides by hand, there are about a dozen small holes ranging from 1 to 6mm, most are quite small and are at the ends. The set is otherwise in good condition, I have washed and pressed it. This would be a wonderful set for show in a crib or small bed with a doll collection! |
