Cotton eyelet lace flounce circa early 1900s Cotton machine embroidered eyelet lace flounce circa early 1900s from the Pallinsburn House estate in Northumberland (for more information on this important estate see the article on our home page). This lace measures 6.75 inches deep and is 50 inches long, it is in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Handmade Alencon lace circa 1820-40 Beautiful handmade Alencon lace circa 1820-40. This cream lace measures 2.75 by 110 inches (2 yards 28 inches), the lace is entirely handmade including the mesh, the design elements are floral with lovely needle lace filling stitches. There are a few well old, well done repairs, the lace is otherwise in excellent, clean condition.
