Linen and handmade filet lace napkins circa 1900-1920
This is a set of 6 linen and filet lace napkins circa 1900-1920, These napkins measure 20 by 21 inches, the hems are mitered and stitched by hand, the shield shaped filet inserts are also hand made and stitched in by hand, these are surrounded by cutwork and lovely hand embroidery. There is a faint stain on one, and 2 have repairs to the lace, one of which has some broken bridges, (basically you have 4 good ones and 2 fair ones) they are otherwise in good condition, I have washed and pressed them.

Linen napkins with handmade lace set 12 circa 1890-1920
This is a set of 12 linen napkins with handmade mosaic lace circa 1890-1920. These napkins measure 17 inches square, the edges are handmade drawnwork lace made from drawing threads from the linen and wrapping it with thread for strength, the edges are then stitched with close buttonhole stitches by hand, beautiful work! In one corner of each napkin is a beribboned basket of flowers in mosaic lace. There is a small tear at the edge of one napkin and a few slightly frayed edges, they are otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is of a very high quality, it is closely woven, smooth and cool to the touch.

This is a set of 4 Canton linen napkins with hand embroidered roses. These white napkins measures 15 inches square, the hems are stitched by hand, in one corner of each napkin is an embroidered rose. 2 of the napkins have a small hole, they are otherwise in good condition, I have washed and pressed them.

Set 8 linen napkins handmade figural mosaic lace circa late 1800's
Set of 8 linen napkins with figural mosaic lace from the late 1800's. These cream napkins measure 16 by 17 inches , the mosaic pattern is of birds facing each other chickens perhaps? The lacework is done by hand with the threads being well wrapped, nice handwork. There is a hand darn on one napkin about 1/2 inch long and another napkin has 2 small darns, they are otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is very soft and buttery, wonderful hand.

Set of 24 handmade linen napkins handmade mosaic lace late 1800's
This is a set of 24 handmade linen napkins with handmade mosaic lace edges and monogram circa late 1800's . These cream napkins measure 17.5 inches square the monogram reads HB, 12 napkins have a monogram with capital letters and 12 have small letter h and a capital B, they were all obviously made by the same person. 1 napkin is a bit frayed at the edge, 1 napkin has a small hole next to the monogram and 1 has 3 small holes, the rest are in very good condition, I have washed and pressed them. If you have large gatherings these napkins would work great! The linen is very soft and buttery feeling.

This is a set of 6 linen napkins with hand worked lace designs circa 1930-40's. These ecru napkins measure 16 inches square the edges have punch work lace with finely hand embroidered edges and a punch work floral design in one corner of each, lovely handwork! These napkins are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them.

This is a set of 11 linen damask napkins circa 1930-40s. These napkins measure 19 by 21 inches, the hems are stitched by hand, the damask pattern is floral around the edges with subtle little dots filling the center section. One napkin has a small hole and one napkin has a tiny thin spot, they are otherwise in very good condition, i have washed and pressed them.

This is a set of 3 linen damask napkins with a hand embroidered P monogram circa 1910-30. These napkins measure 19 inches square, the hems are hand stitches with a row of drawn work about the edge, there is a hand embroidered P monogram in one corner of each napkin. The damask pattern is of tulips , very lovely! These napkins are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is soft, cool and smooth.

Set of 4 linen napkins with cutwork and fine hand embroidery from Madeira circa 1930s-50. These napkins measures 16 by 17 inches, the scalloped edges are hand embroidered, one corner of each napkin has a pretty cutwork flowers embellished with fine hand embroidery, lovely handwork as to be expected from Madeira. These napkins are in excellent seldom used condition, I have washed and pressed them.
