Early homespun linen dinner napkins signed circa 1800 This is a set of 4 early homespun linen napkins signed H. Sterling circa 1800. These napkins measure 25 by 28 inches, the hems are stitched by hand using tiny almost invisible stitches, the pattern is an early geometric seen in the early linens. These napkins aren't perfect, one has one small hole the other 3 have a few small holes, they are otherwise in good condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is of a good weight and still sturdy, they are lovely examples of skilled early weaving.

Linen damask napkins hand emb MVP mono set of 4 This is a set of 4 linen damask napkins with a Hand embroidered MVP monogram circa very early 1900's. These napkins measure 26.5 by 27 inches, the hems are turned and stitched by hand with teensy stitches, in one corner of each napkin is hand embroidered monogram that reads MVP if you are a sports fan you would instantly think most valuable player! The damask pattern is floral with scrolls and stylized tulips. These napkins are not perfect, one has a thin spot, one has a small hole and 2 have a few small holes, they are otherwise in good condition, I have washed and pressed them. These are sot silky smooth napkins with a buttery hand, they still have lots of use left.

Set 12 Linen damask dinner napkins circa 1930 Set 12 Linen damask dinner napkins circa 1930. These white linen napkins measure 25 inches square except for 1 which is exactly the same as the rest but is 22 inches square, I don't know why. The napkins have a lovely rose pattern. These napkins are thick and weighty with a wonderful drape and hand, I have washed and pressed them.

Set of 9 Large linen damask dinner napkins L monogram 1890 Set of 9 Large linen damask dinner napkins L monogram circa late 1800s. These white linen napkins measure 25.5 by 26.5 inches, the damask pattern has a Celtic type design, the more you look at it, the more you see. The hems are turned and stitched by hand, they have a good weight with a soft, smooth substantial hand. One napkin has a small hole, the other 8 are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them.

Provenance Samuel Colt estate figural damask linen napkins armorial crest Huge figural damask linen napkins with armorial crest Provenance Samuel Colt estate circa 1800s. This set of 11 white napkins measures 30 by 36 inches, they came from a direct descendant of the Famous Sam and Elizabeth Colt in Hartford Conn. maker of the Colt pistol revolvers that shaped American history. The hand turned hems are hand stitched with almost invisible little stitches, the damask design has butterflies around the edge a ribbon wrapped frame with a background of little butterflies inside with a large armorial crest in the center topped by a lion rampant with a banner that reads FIDELE under it, an interesting combination. The napkins aren't perfect, most have a few small light stains or small holes, minor stuff, 1 has a 1/2 inch tear on the side and 1 has a 1 inch tear in the corner which are the only major flaws, they are all still quite usable, I have washed and pressed these. Its so hard to find these huge old napkins, especially with butterflies, a nice crest and provenance.

The napkins aren't perfect, most have a few small light stains or small holes, minor stuff, they are all still quite usable, I have washed and pressed these. Its so hard to find these huge old napkins, especially with butterflies, a nice crest and provenance.

Quality linen damask tablecloth 12 large napkin set provenance c 1880-90s Fine QUALITY linen damask tablecloth and 12 large napkins with hand embroidered monogram and family provenance circa 1880-90s. This soft white linen set consists of a tablecloth measuring 62 by 86 inches and 12 napkins 25.5 by 27.5 inches. The tablecloth has a small EMB monogram centered on each end and the napkins have the same matching monogram in one corner, the damask pattern has a variety of flowers and vines, very pretty, the embroidery work is beautifully done. The tablecloth has 1 small light stain, 1 napkin has 2 small stains and 1 has a gray spec, the set is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is of high quality, it is very soft, smooth with a weighty drape and hand, the original owner was the daughter of a well to do industrialist, I will send the provenance as told to me by the family along with the set.

Art Nouveau linen damask tablecloth 11 napkin set late 1800s Lovely Art Nouveau linen damask tablecloth and napkin set circa late 1800s. This white linen set consists of a tablecloth measuring 78 by 86 inches and 11 napkins 24.5 by 25 inches. The design elements are classic Art Nouveau with flowing lines, feathery leaves and stylized, organic, curving flowers. The hand embroidered monogram reads EM, nice handwork. The tablecloth has one hole about 3mm in size, The napkins have small specs on 3, an inch wide darn on 1, a smudge on 1, and 2 light blue stains on 1, they are otherwise in good shape, I have washed and pressed them. I will include the provenance as told to me by a family member. Art Nouveau is difficult to find in linens.
