Handmade figural lace tablecloth with griffins, Italian circa late 1800s Lovely handmade figural lace and linen tablecloth, Italian, circa late 1800s or very early 1900s. This lace tablecloth measures 35 by 36 inches, the corners have griffins in handmade filet lace, along the sides are small birds, also in filet lace, interspersed with the lace are linen panels with Italian whitework and needle lace, around the edges is handmade bobbin lace, all the stitching and lacework is hand done. This tablecloth is in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Rare oval linen and handmade Cantu lace tablecloth provenance circa 1800s Rare and gorgeous fine linen and handmade Cantu lace oval tablecloth circa 1800s with provenance. This tablecloth measures 31 by 40 inches, the linen is fine handkerchief weight with needle and filet lace inserts, cutwork and hand embroidery, the design elements are floral with very attractive ribbons of cutwork lace weaving around the inserts, beautiful handwork! The piece is edged with high quality handmade Cantu bobbin lace, very striking! This tablecloth is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The oval shape is rather rare in antique linens, this one is wonderful!There is some provenance as told to me by the family with this piece that I will send along with it.

This white tablecloth measures 18 inches square, the drawnwork pattern and needle lace filling stitches are really quite lovely! There are 3 small hand darns in the center, the piece is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

There are about 12 little holes in the mesh, many are in the embroidered area so won't show if stitched back together, the tablecloth is otherwise good, I have washed and pressed it.

Fab linen handmade figural lace tablecloth Provenance Samuel Colt c1800s Fabulous linen and handmade figural lace tablecloth Provenance Samuel Colt estate circa late 1800s. This white linen and lace tablecloth measures 36 inches square, it came from a direct descendent of the Famous Sam and Elizabeth Colt in Hartford Conn. maker of the Colt revolvers that shaped American history. The edge has handmade Cantu bobbin lace hand stitched to the linen, in each corner is a very finely handmade needle lace insert of people, 2 are reading a book, and 2 are dancing, there are 4 needle lace fountains with birds splashing in them, so cute! This tablecloth is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The handwork is superb, the quality is first rate!

Handmade filet lace tablecloth circa late 1800s Handmade filet lace tablecloth circa late 1800s. This cream lace tablecloth measures 32 inches square, the classic designs are floral. Filet lace is made by making a mesh using knots the designs are made by weaving threads into the mesh. There are 2 broken bridges and 2 stains that can be seen in the lower right corner, the tablecloth is otherwise good, I have washed and pressed it.
