Handmade cherub figural crochet lace doily antimacassar 1890 Handmade cotton figural crochet lace antimacassar or doily circa late 1800s-early 1900s. This cream doily measures 17 by 18 inches, the tassels are and extra 7 inches long. The design elements show a cherub profile on each side at the top with an urn of flowers on the bottom. There is a small hole at the top corner, it is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it. The picture shows tangle threads on the tassels, I have since untangled them.

Handmade lace doily circa early 1900s Handmade lace doily circa early 1900s. This white lace doily measures 10 by 13 inches, the lace is made using machine made mesh and hand embroidering the designs onto the mesh, the design one this piece has a bird and flowers. There are some small holes in the mesh, the doily is otherwise in good, strong condition, I have washed and pressed it.

These ecru doilies measure 7 inches in diameter, the center has a lovely needle lace leaf, this is surrounded by handmade bobbin lace, lovely handwork! One doily is in excellent condition, the other has broken bridges in the center that can be seen in the pics, these have been washed and pressed, the lace is strong.

3 hand embroidered linen doilies circa 1930 Doris Duke estate 3 hand embroidered linen doilies circa 1930s Doris Duke estate. 2 doilies measure 6 inches in diameter, 1 measures 8 inches square, they are all hand embroidered, very fine needle work. They are all in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. Doris Duke was an heiress, who was once one of the wealthiest women in the country, these are from her estate.
