Fabulous Ivory handle hair brush sterling silver crown monogram circa 1800s Fabulous Ivory handle hair brush with sterling crown monogram circa 1800s. This brush measures 9 inches long and is 2.75 inches wide, the natural boar bristles are 3.5 inches wide and 1 inch long, the substantial silver inlay monogram measures 2 by 1.25 inches. This brush is in remarkable condition, the bristles are intact and the ivory is in good shape, the brush is clean. I absolutely love the monogram a majestic LLC (or however you wish to arrange the letters) with the crown, this obviously belonged to a member of the nobility and has been well cared for.

Ivory glove stretcher with sterling silver crown monogram circa 1800s Fab Ivory glove stretcher with sterling crown monogram circa 1800s. This glove stretched measures 9 inches long and is 0.75 inches wide at the widest part of the handle, the silver inlay monogram is 1.25 inches long and 5/8 inch (15mm) wide. There is a chip from the ivory at the end of the handle and the flat spring is a bit rusted but that's just surface rust, its strong and works just fine, there is also a crack in the side of the ivory ball in the middle and the top to one of the silver L's is gone, all of this is pictured. Still this is a nifty item I absolutely love the monogram a majestic LLC (or however you wish to arrange the letters) with the crown, this obviously belonged to a member of the nobility.

I absolutely love the monogram a majestic LLC (or however you wish to arrange the letters) with the crown, this obviously belonged to a member of the nobility. This brush is in good condition but not perfect, there are some missing bristles at the sides, a few small tight cracks in the ivory at the top end and sides (pictured), these are all consistent with normal use. This would look great on the dresser or placed on a lovely table just so...you could pretend to have royal connections!

Click for more detail...
P4527
Fancy pantaloons with lace all hand stitched with monogram circa 1800's This is a pair of fancy linen lawn pantaloons with the monogram MH, all hand stitched from the Pallinsburn House estate in Northumberland (for more information on this important estate see the article on our home page) circa 3rd quarter of the 1800’s. These pantaloons have a 27 inch waist and are 23 inches long, the bottom edges have handmade Valenciennes lace and hand embroidered whitework, there is a hand embroidered MH on the bottom of one leg the H stands for Hamilton, probably stitched on by the lady herself. The needlework is VERY fine as these belonged to a person of wealth, the stitches are so incredibly tiny you need magnification to see them. There is a fine hand embroidered cord on each side (pictured) in which to put a pretty ribbon, the single button closure is mother of pearl. These pantaloons are in excellent condition, they are strong and appear to have been seldom used, one could wear them today.

2658
5 wool tambour stitched on cotton panels This is a set of 5 cotton fabric panels with wool tambour stitched flowers. 2 panels measure 30 by 25 inches, 2 panels measure 25 by 43 inches and 1 panel measures 26 by 48 inches. The tambour stitching looks to be machine done, the age is uncertain, my guess is they are probably 50+ years old. The colors are lovely and the fabric is upholstery weight, very strong and supple, they will need to be cleaned but are otherwise in excellent condition. These would make lovely pillows, chair seats, table toppers, etc. The colors in the pictures are accurate, very beautiful!
Circa: mid 1900s
Condition: excellent
Color: cream, reds, pink, green, blue
