Unused Canton linen tablecloth 21 napkin set circa 1020-30s
Unused Canton linen tablecloth and 21 napkins circa 1920-30s. This cream set consists of a tablecloth measuring 46 by 48 inches, 9 napkins 15 by 16 inches and 12 napkins 10 inches square, the set is made of sheer linen with hand embroidery and drawnwork, the napkins and tablecloth still have their little paper labels that say Made in China and the tea napkins are still bound together with threads. There are age related and storage discolorations that will easily soak out with their first wash, I will send washing instructions with the set, it is otherwise in never used condition.

Unused heavy linen tablecloth in natural linen and peach circa 1920s. This tablecloth measures 42 by 44 inches, the hems are machine stitched. The tablecloth is in excellent unwashed, unused condition, I will send washing instructions with it. This is a sturdy tablecloth!

Handmade linen and figural lace tablecloth centercloth circa early 1900s
Handmade linen and figural lace center cloth or small tablecloth circa early 1900s. This white tablecloth measures 15.5 by 16.5, the design elements show squirrels at the top corners in filet lace, the bottom corners have Cluny lace baskets, centered on either side of the middle are Greek mythological figures (Cockatrice?) in handmade filet lace, there are also cutwork and embroidered branches with diamonds of Cluny lace, the cloth is edged with more Cluny lace hand stitched to the linen. The blunt ended wheaters would indicate this was made either in France or the UK. There is one teensy hole at the edge, the tablecloth is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Handmade linen tablecloth fine drawnwork hand embroidery circa 1900-10
Handmade linen tablecloth with fine drawnwork and hand embroidery circa 1900-1910. This white linen tablecloth measures 29 by 30 inches, the hems and mitered corners are all hand stitched as well as the drawn work, the design elements are floral with lovely embroidered flower bouquets and dotted swags on a drawn work frame. The hand work is beautifully done! There is one small light stain on the edge, the tablecloth is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is high quality with a high thread count. Could also be used as a layover sham.

Society silk and linen tablecloth life size roses late 1800s
Beautiful hand embroidered society silk and linen tablecloth with life size roses circa late 1800s to early 1900s. This white linen and pink rose tablecloth measures 42.5 inches square, the roses with stems are life size and measure 12 -15 inches in length! Society silk pieces were those pieces done by well to do ladies who had the money and the skill to work in silk, these were the pieces they took with them to work on when they went on social calls and such to show off their needle working skills and were often presented as cherished gifts. The needle work on this is well done is shades of pink and greens for a very realistic effect including thorns and falling petals! This tablecloth is in excellent condition and doesn't seem to have been used much, I have washed and pressed it.

Gorgeous society silk and linen tablecloth with sweet peas circa late 1800s. This cream linen tablecloth measures 41 inches square, the floral designs are of life size sweet peas in pale pink blooms with a tasteful mix of silver and green petals and tendrils. the hand work is perfection itself! Society silk pieces were those pieces done by well to do ladies who had the money and the skill to work in silk, these were the pieces they took with them to work on when they went on social calls and such to show off their needle working skills and were often presented as cherished gifts. There is a faint group of stains is one corner, the tablecloth is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Unusual society silk and linen tablecloth espaliered apples c1800s
Unusual society silk and linen tablecloth with espaliered apples circa 1800s. This cream linen tablecloth measures 30 by 31 inches, the rare hand embroidered design is of asters and espaliered apples, lovely handwork in fall colors with blush colored apples! Society silk pieces were those pieces done by well to do ladies who had the money and the skill to work in silk, these were the pieces they took with them to work on when they went on social calls and such to show off their needle working skills and were often presented as cherished gifts. There is a rather poor repair at the top that I have pictured and a small hole at the hem edge as well as 6 places where some stitches have worn or are missing on the branches, the piece is otherwise good, I have washed and pressed it. Even with the flaws, this is a rare design, executed with skill and flair.

Quality homespun linen tablecloth handmade figural lace early to mid 1800s
High quality homespun linen tablecloth with handmade figural lace in corners circa early to mid 1800s. This substantial cream linen tablecloth measures 54 inches square, first rate drawnwork figural lace in the corners and along the edges, the mitered hems are hand stitched, the center of the tablecloth is without ornamentation. There is a faint stain, the tablecloth is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is substantial and weighty with the cool, soft, buttery feel of quality antique linen!
