Linen Madeira luncheon set hand embroidered 8 napkins and runner c1930's This is a linen luncheon set with hand embroidery and cutwork from Madeira circa 1930’s. This set consists of 8 napkins 15 inches square and a runner 15.5 by 32 inches. The set has scalloped edges that are hand embroidered in Champaign colored thread, there is a lovely hand embroidered flower and leaf pattern in one corner of each napkin and in all 4 corners of the runner. The runner is in excellent condition, the napkins are in very good condition, the only flaws being a couple of the napkins have spots where the embroidery is a bit lighter than the rest, I have washed and pressed this set.

Linen breakfast set hand embroidered mid 1900's striking! This is a striking hand embroidered linen breakfast set from the mid 1900’s. This set consists of 4 placemats measuring 9 by 15 inches and a center cloth 14.5 by 14 inches. The edges are hand crocheted, the de4signs are of flowers with bright yellow centers in French knots with Kelly green leaves. This set is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is heavy with good drape.

Italian linen breakfast or luncheon set hand drawnwork circa 1930-40's This is an Italian linen breakfast or luncheon set with hand drawnwork circa 1930-40’s. This ecru linen set consists of a tray cloth of center cloth 16 by 21.5 inches and 11 mats (could be used as napkins) 9 by 16. The set has hand stitched hems with Punto quadro drawnwork, it is in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it. These are of a weighty linen that is soft and drapey.

5 placemats with hand embroidery and needle lace circa 1940's This is a pair of linen blend placemats with hand cutwork, lace and embroidery circa 1940’s. These taupe placemats measure 11 by 16 inches, the scalloped edges are hand embroidered, there is a cutwork flower with needle lace filling stitches and French knot embellishment. These mats are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them.

Italian linen placemats hand embroidery and dran work circa 1930-40's This is a set of 3 Italian linen placemats with hand embroidery and drawn work circa 1930-40's. These mats are cream with taupe handwork, they measures 11 by 16.5 inches, the drawn work is called punto quadro. These mats are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is soft with a fine hand.

Quality 8pc luncheon set hand embroidered from Madeira circa 1920-30's This is an 8 pc linen luncheon set with lovely hand embroidery from Madeira circa 1920-30's. This white linen set consists of 4 napkins measuring 19 inches square and 4 placemats 13 by 17.5 inches. The linen is substantial with scalloped edges finished with hand embroidered button hole stitches, one corner of each napkin has little hand embroidered flowers and dots, very classic, the placemats have this same design all around. The set is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. This is a quality set with sturdy, weighty linen that drapes beautifully!

Fabulous linen cutwork lace wine and cheese set from Madeira This is a FABULOUS linen cutwork lace and hand embroidered wine and cheese set from Madeira circa 1930-50s. This 7 pc set consists of a runner measuring 14 by 40 inches, 3 mats 9 by 11.5 and 3 mats 5 by 10 inches. The fine cutwork design elements are of hanging clusters of grapes with various sized leaves, vines and tendrils, heavily hand embroidered, gorgeous handwork! Every time I look at this set I notice something different. The small mats were used more often then the rest of the set so they are a bit lighter in color, the set is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. I rarely find wine and cheese sets like this!

4 round linen and lace placemats from Madeira, imperfect This is a set of 4 round linen and lace mats from Madeira circa 1920-40s. These mats measure 11 inches in diameter, the edges have handmade filet lace, there are 4 lace inserts between cutwork branches, these are embellished with hand embroidery. 2 of the mats are in good condition, 1 has some scattered pinholes and 1 has 2 small holes, I have washed and pressed this set.

Homespun Italian linenand whitework luncheon set circa 1900-20 beautiful! This is a fine homespun Italian linen and lace luncheon set circa 1900-20. This set consists of a runner measuring 16 by 48 inches, 12 placemats 11 by 16 inches and 11 napkins 14 inches square. The linen is handmade with finely hand stitched edges and fancy drawn work called ponto quadro, the runner and mats have band of Italian whitework around the edge with cutwork designs for added interest, the napkins have this handwork on one corner of each napkin, gorgeous handwork! The runner has a nicely done hand darn that can be seen in one of the pictures, the set is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. This is a fine quality set, the linen is soft and cool to touch and drapey as only antique linen can be!

Madeira linen hand embroidered luncheon set circa 1940s This is a fine linen and hand embroidered luncheon set in blue from Madeira circa 1940s. This set consists of 6 placemats measuring 11 by 17 inches, 8 napkins 17 inches square and 4 napkins 11 inches square. The placemats are a Wedgwood blue linen with a light blue appliqué edge finished with hand embroidery just inside the edge are dainty hand embroidered flowers, the napkins also have the appliqué and embroidered edge with the embroidered flowers in one corner. The set is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen and hand work are of the finest quality! I love the blue color and lovely handwork!
