4 round linen and lace placemats from Madeira, imperfect This is a set of 4 round linen and lace mats from Madeira circa 1920-40s. These mats measure 11 inches in diameter, the edges have handmade filet lace, there are 4 lace inserts between cutwork branches, these are embellished with hand embroidery. 2 of the mats are in good condition, 1 has some scattered pinholes and 1 has 2 small holes, I have washed and pressed this set.

Homespun Italian linen and whitework 24 pc luncheon set c1900-20 beautiful! This is a fine homespun Italian linen and lace luncheon set circa 1900-20. This set consists of a runner measuring 16 by 48 inches, 12 placemats 11 by 16 inches and 11 napkins 14 inches square. The linen is handmade with finely hand stitched edges and fancy drawn work called ponto quadro, the runner and mats have band of Italian whitework around the edge with cutwork designs for added interest, the napkins have this handwork on one corner of each napkin, gorgeous handwork! The runner has a nicely done hand darn that can be seen in one of the pictures, the set is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. This is a fine quality set, the linen is soft and cool to touch and drapey as only antique linen can be!

Madeira linen hand embroidered 18pc luncheon set circa 1940s This is a fine linen and hand embroidered luncheon set in blue from Madeira circa 1940s. This set consists of 6 placemats measuring 11 by 17 inches, 8 napkins 17 inches square and 4 napkins 11 inches square. The placemats are a Wedgwood blue linen with a light blue appliqué edge finished with hand embroidery just inside the edge are dainty hand embroidered flowers, the napkins also have the appliqué and embroidered edge with the embroidered flowers in one corner. The set is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen and hand work are of the finest quality! I love the blue color and lovely handwork!

Peach madeira placemats and tray cloth mid 1900s not perfect Peach Madeira linen and hand embroidered mats and tray cloth circa mid 1900s. 2 of the mats measure 10 by 13.5 inches, 1 mat is 11 by 16.5 inches and the tray cloth is 16 by 23.5 inches. the scalloped edges are edges with hand embroidered buttonhole stitches, the body of the pieces have lovely little embroidered flowers in white, peach, yellow and blue. These pieces do have flaws, one small mat is in very good condition, one has a few holes, the large mat has 1 stain, the tray cloth has 2 stains. I have washed and pressed the set. Pretty if you do not require perfection but priced accordingly.

3 aqua linen placemats circa 1950s Set of 3 aqua linen placemats circa 1950s. These placemats measure 12 by 16 inches, elegant and simple, one mat has a small light stain, they are otherwise in excellent condition I have washed and pressed them. The linen is weighty and very sturdy.

This set consists of 6 placemats measuring 10.5 by 16 inches and 4 napkins 12 inches square. The hems are hand stitched, the napkins and mats have lovely, dainty little bullion stitched yellow roses decorating them. The set is in good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Cotton linen blend luncheon set embroidered ships circa 1940-50s Heavy cotton linen blend luncheon set with hand embroidered ships circa 1940-50s. This set consists of 6 luncheon napkins 8 by 11 inches and 3 placemats 11.5 by 16.5 inches, the hems are hand stitched with a border of gray cross stitching, the napkins have the hand embroidered ship on one end and the placemats have the ship centered in the middle with sea gulls on each side. The set is in good condition, I have washed and pressed it, the napkins were apparently used more often as they are faded a bit which can be seen in the pictures.

Linen placemats hand embroidered mid 1900s oriental themes Lot of linen placemats and 1 napkin with hand embroidered oriental themes mid 1900s. The napkin measures 13 inches square, 2 mats measures 12 by 18 and one measures 10 by 15, they all have exquisite hand embroidered cross stitched vignettes with boats, people and or buildings, lovely handwork! 2 of the mats have a teensy stain, the pieces are otherwise in very good-excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them.

8 Italian linen place mats hand embroidered needle lace circa 1930-40s Set of 8 Italian linen placemats with hand embroidery and needle lace circa 1930-40s. These cream placemats with taupe embroidery measure 10.5 by 16 inches, the edges are turned and stitched by hand, the corners and edges have classic hand embroidered designs with heedle lace filling stitches, very lovely handwork. One mat has a very small thin spot, they are otherwise in very good-excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is soft with a fine hand.

24 pc linen napkins and placemats mid 1900s 24 pc linen napkins and placemat set circa mid 1900s. This white linen set consists of 10 cocktail napkins measuring 5 by 7.5 inches, 4 napkins 17 inches square, 2 napkins 21 inches square, 6 placemats 11 by 16.5 inches and 2 placemats 13 by 19.5 inches. All the items are of the same crenulated pattern in drawnwork with mitered corners. 1 of the cocktail napkins has a small hole, one of the mats has wax stains, the rest of the set is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is smooth and soft with a high thread count.
