This is a pair of velvet mats or doilies with metallic trim and cotton backing. The mats measure 10 by 12 inches, the trim is stitched to the velvet by machine, the backing is stitched on by hand. The set is in excellent condition and would make great places to display special items!

This is a linen and handmade tatted lace doily from the mid 1900’s. This doily measures 16 inches in diameter, the lace is stitched to the linen by hand, there is a row of drawnwork at this juncture. This doily is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it.

5 Linen and lace doilies circa 1920's
This is a lot of 5 linen and lace doilies from the 1920's. The smallest doily measures 7 inches in diameter and the largest 12 inches. The 2 largest have handmade lace edging stitched by hand to the linen and are in excellent condition, the smallest has machine made lace also stitched to the linen by hand, there is some fraying to the lace edges, they are all washed and pressed.

This doily measures 7.5 by 11.5 inches, the scalloped edges have hand embroidered buttonhole stitches, there are cutwork circles and flowers with hand embroidered embellishments, it is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Linen damask doily with fringe and butterfly late 1800's
This is a linen damask doily with a butterfly pattern and fringe from the late 1800's. This doily measures 12.5 inches in diameter including fringe, the damask pattern is of morning glories and a butterfly hovering over them. There is some fringe loss in one area as pictured, the doily had been washed and ironed but appears a bit rumples in the photos.
