Heavy linen center cloth with handmade needle lace and embroidered edges circa 1920-40s. This cloth measures 23 inches square, all the work is hand done with crenulated edges filled with needle lace, simple but elegant. This cloth is in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Doilie 19c linen fancy drawnwork
This is a pretty 19c linen doilie with drawnwork. This 18.5 by 19 inch doilie has hand turned hems hand stitched with drawnwork, there is a ¾ inch wide row of fancy drawnwork embellished on the sides with hand embroidery, the corners have needlelace. There are a few broken brides in the needlelace, the cloth is otherwise in good condition, it is washed and pressed.

Linen Altar cloth with embroidered crosses circa 1930-40s
Linen altar cloth with embroidered crosses circa 1930-40s. This white linen cloth measures 41 by 110 inches, the bottom edge has machine embroidered crosses, the sides and top are hemmed. The linen is of good quality and very white, there are 2 small wax stains, a group of pinholes near the lower edge , a pea size hole at the lower edge and a poor repair at the upper edge, there is still plenty of good fabric to use, I have washed and pressed it.

Condition: fair-good, some flaws

linen and lace bag, cover, c1900 handmade
This is a lovely little linen and lace piece, circa 1900. This piece measures 11 inches in diameter with a pocket 5 inches wide and 7.5 inches long. The pocket is treadle machine sewn, the rest is sewn by hand (tiny stitches) with hand embroidered embellishments. This piece is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. It looks like it might have been a little bag of some sort.

This is a set of 3 lovely linen and handmade lace doilies from the 1930's. These doilies measure 7.5 by 15 inches including the beautiful handmade cluny lace at the edge which was sew on by hand. There are 2 small brown spots on one, the other 2 doilies are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them.

Velvet mat doily with Metallic trim
This is a lovely velvet doily or mat with metallic trim with cotton backing. This doily or mat measures 10.5 inches in diameter, the trim is machine stitched to the velvet, the backing is stitched on by hand. This piece is in excellent condition, it would make a great spot to display something special that you want to bring attention to!
