French homespun linen bath sheet or towel lace 1800s Wonderful homespun and hand woven French linen bath sheet or towel late 1800s. This towel measures 43 by 58 inches so its large enough to cuddle up in after the shower or bath and nothing absorbs water like homespun linen! I have some of these myself and I love them, they work much better than cotton terry towels made today. There are 2 small faint stains and a small hand darn, it is otherwise in very good condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is soft and substantial with a nubby texture that will dry you off FAST!
Circa: late 1800s
