Towel linen 19c handwoven fancy drawnwork This is a wonderful 19c handwoven towel with monogram! This 29.5 by 40 inch towel has hand stitched hems with a beautiful row of fancy drawnwork with well wrapped threads , the row of drawnwork stops short of the selvege which makes it quite sturdy. There is a hand embroidered AGC monogram above the drawnwork. There a few small stains on the back that don't show when the towel is folded and hung for display, it is otherwise excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is cool, soft and drapey. This is a beautiful towel!
