Pair quality linen towels fancy drawn work and monogram circa 1900-20 This is a pair of very posh linen towels with fancy drawn work and hand embroidered monogram circa 1900-1920. These white towels measure 14.5 by 24 inches, the hems are hand stitched and there are 3 rows of drawn work one each end of the towel, the side edges are turned and also stitched by hand. The hand embroidered monogram reads HRB. The linen is the pebbly texture found only in some of the very high quality linens, its the perfect texture for drying hands! There is a light pink stain on the back of the bottom hem on one towel, they are otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them

This cream towel measures 13.5 by 18 inches, the hand embroidered geometric designs are rather unusual. This towel is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it.

This mint green and white towel measures 12 by 20 inches, the hems are stitched by hand, the front hem is scalloped and hand embroidered, there are lovely white appliquéd flowers with hand embroidered details as well as drawn work. There is a small faint stain the towel is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it.

This charming yellow towel measures 11 by 19 inches it has hand embroidered chevrons across the front in cream and grey threads interspaced with dainty embroidered flowers. These ecru linen towels measure 24 by 40 inches not counting the 3.5 inch hand tied fringe on each end, the damask pattern has lovely ferns and flowers, there is a hand embroidered monogram on one end of each towel that reads LVH.
