This is a linen damask towel with a hand embroidered W monogram circa 1900-1920's. This towel measures 14.5 by 22 inches. This towel has seen a lot of use and is worn, no holes though, and it still has life in it. I have washed and pressed it.

Linen guest towel organdy insert from Madeira circa 1940-50's
This is a fine linen guest towel with an organdy insert and hand embroidery from Madeira circa 1940-50's. This towel measures 11 by 16 inches, the edges are hand stitched using fine stitches, the bottom hem is scalloped with hand embroidered buttonhole stitches, the organdy insert is hand stitched and embroidered by hand with flowers lovely hand work! This towel is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it.

This is a linen towel with a VMA monogram circa 1900. This towel measures 13.5 by 20 inches, the hems are hand stitched, the monogram is hand stitched in blue cross stitching. This towel is in good condition, I have washed and pressed it.

This is a pair of very posh linen damask guest towels with monogram circa 1930's. These white towels measure 17.5 by 30 inches, the hems are hand stitched, there is an art deco interlocking damask design on the ends. The hand embroidered monogram reads NSS. One towel has 1 small faint stain, the other towel is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is very soft and of high quality!

This is a pair of very posh linen damask guest towels with monogram circa 1930's. These white towels measure 17.5 by 30 inches, the hems are hand stitched, there is an art deco interlocking damask design on the ends. The hand embroidered monogram reads NSS. One towel has 2 small stains, the other has about 6 pinholes, they are otherwise in good condition, I have washed and pressed them. The linen is very soft and of high quality!

This is a pair of very posh linen towels with fancy drawn work and hand embroidered monogram circa 1900-1920. These white towels measure 14.5 by 24 inches, the hems are hand stitched and there are 3 rows of drawn work one each end of the towel, the side edges are turned and also stitched by hand. The hand embroidered monogram reads HRB. The linen is the pebbly texture found only in some of the very high quality linens, its the perfect texture for drying hands! These towels are in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed them.
