These pillows are my own unique designs using Antique and vintage fabrics and trims. I spend lots of time searching for appropriate fabrics to use (I love hunting for textiles!) and when they get home I either clean them myself or send them out to be cleaned depending on the fabric type (I test fabrics to determine what kind of fabric they are). Once cleaned and pressed they are ready to use on a pillow. The fabrics are backed with muslin for added strength; delicate lace and fancy cording are sewn on by hand, as are some of the ribbons. I use a feather/down mixture to stuff pillow forms made from double thick down proof ticking. These feathers are sterilized, and come from a company that supplies the bedding industry. It takes many hours to design and build one of my pillows, each one an individual work of art. I enjoy making these and I hope that you will also enjoy them!
