Long pair Tambour lace curtains circa 1870-1900 Lovely, long pair of Tambour lace curtains circa 1870-1900. This pair of ecru lace curtains measures 25 by 146 inches (that's over 12 feet!). The design elements are floral with bouquets of flowers, ribbons, sprigs and tendrils, the pattern goes all the way up top to bottom with finished edges on both sides, VERY lovely! Both curtains have some damage at the top 2 feet consisting of several small holes probably from where they were pinned with hardware, as for the other 10 feet of curtain, one curtain has 5 small (and I do mean small) holes, the other has 12, these could be repaired, or not, I would use them as is personally. The curtains are clean as I have washed them, they still have a bit of residual starchiness, I have pressed them so, they are ready to use. Antique curtains are getting harder to find, especially long ones like these.
Circa: 1870-1900
Condition: good
Size: 25 by 146 inches
Color: ecru

Pair handmade French Miracourt lace curtains circa 1880-90s Pretty pair of handmade French Miracourt lace curtains circa 1880-90s. These taupe lace curtain panels measure 48 by 90 inches with and extra 7 or 8 inches used to make the top pocket for the curtain rod. The lace is handmade with classic floral design elements running across the bottom and one side all the way to the top, the other side is finished but plain, there is a pocket at the top for a curtain rod, one curtain is left facing and the other right, a true, matching pair. One drape has 6 holes at the bottom corner that are pictured (I would take a bit of lace mesh from the top pocket and use it to repair the holes in the mesh), and a couple lace separations easily repaired with a few stitches, the other panel has 2 small holes and 2 small well done repairs. The curtains are otherwise good, I have washed and pressed them so they are fresh, clean and ready for use.
Circa: 1880-90s
Condition: good, some flaws
